Does installing a rear support truss increase the rigidity of the car? Is it worth installing and does it make a difference you can feel?

I made my own using a pan hard bar and connecting it to where the rear seat back locks in place. I used heim joints to do this. It has definitely helped in keeping my rear flat in the corners with the stock rear suspension. I was told this by friends following me through the local canyons, as well as by the how it feels. I made it and installed it before KLA came out with their version....

My version fixes into place using the original seat back fixings. It definitely tightens up the rear end.
