Front Spoiler height on 981 GT4

I bought a Futura trailer last year (the one that lowers the bed down by electric motor). The bottom of spoiler rubs up against the bed while my front wheels are still 12-14" away from end of the trailer bed. I am the 3rd owner of the car. I have changed camber and roll bar settings but have not lowered it.
I am working with Futura for a solution, but meanwhile, does anyone have the height from ground to bottom of front spoiler (in middle) on their GT4 that they know for certain is a factory setting? Mice measures 3 1/8".
Cheers,
Nick

My guess is that your GT4 has been lowered quite a bit by one of the previous owners. Clearance of only 3.125" is exceedingly minimal in my book. A good shop will be able to tell what's been done to the car.
My GT4's spoiler is roughly 4.25" off the ground and that is after changing from the winter OEM 20" wheels to my forged 19" Apex track wheels last week. (Tires on the 19" wheels are MPSC2 265/35.) As it is I have to be very careful with uneven or odd pavement transitions, so I can certainly see why you would have trailer loading issues (and other scraping I would think).
Regarding your bed-lowering trailer, you could rig (or buy) some ramps to ease the transition. Scraping is pretty common for lowered and/or race cars with aggressive spoilers, many of which are hand fabricated with little forethought or concern as to clearance.
For a previous race car, I built a set of wooden ramp extenders that were stepped and they worked beautifully - no issues whatsoever. Have had to do similar for other race or significantly lowered cars. It's something many do (extended ramps), so it shouldn't be a problem to get around unless I'm overlooking something regarding your particular situation.
My ancient homemade ramp extenders - a bit rough after many years but they'll still work!

That's great information. Just what I was looking for. Looks like I need to raise it back up to at least 1".
I currently do have to use the 1.5"h x 10"w x 36"L wood ramps to be able to drive onto trailer, but since I saw Futura's marketing videos showing a GT3 driving straight onto bed without ramps, I thought perhaps the control box brain was not programmed on my trailer correctly.
Looks like I have solved my problem or rather CarPokes has solved my problem yet again with this great community of knowledge. Thanks! Nick
