718 Owners: Any issues with the gas flap/door?

A couple of times lately I have had some trouble opening the gas flap/door. The last time I had to press it like 10 times before it opened. Kinda embarrassing if someone was watching....
Anyone else have issues with this?

Could that leather bib be interfering somehow?

No issues so far for me with either of the 718s. Not anything I've had happen on any other P-cars either.

Nah, I took that bib out a while ago, it was a bit annoying sticking it back in each time I fill up.... which is a lot lately.

Filling it up a lot lately is a good sign! Drive that baby!
Sounds like the latch (or catch) might not be fully releasing? Failing actuator. Good thing there is a manual fuel door release - just in case.

No issues opening the gas flap here unless the car is locked!

No problems with my GTS, and yours is also a new lady so no problem to pop into your Dealer and have them check her over for free. In my past life ( 30+ years in the Automotive Industry selling ICE machines - pun intended ) there were cases with doors on different brands and it often was a misalignment issue from the factory. Your Dealer should be able to check and make sure the release is fully disengaging since it has an electric contact system.

No problems here as well. Could the emergency assembly be interfering somehow?
