Hi Everyone. Eleven time Porsche owner here and recently retired. I currently have a 2009 Cayenne GTS with 160k miles and a 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0. Just sold my 1995 Carrera to a great new owner in CA. I reside in Charlotte NC.
I’ve had a 12 year hobby of detailing Porsches and have over 100 under my belt. I thoroughly enjoy making the world better one Porsche at a time  . Please feel free to ask any detailing questions you might have. I love talking Porsche!

Welcome aboard. So I'll ask a detailing question: what's the easiest way for an old, inflexible, stiff-backed guy to clean the inside of the rear window on a 911? Ever use those magnet things that follow the outside mitt?

I'll answer that Tom - it's easy. Let someone else do it!

Ha! Yeah for sure such a pain. I’m only 5’7”. Lay down a clean moving blanket and wear socks (no shoes). There are lots of window cleaning tools. I use the square and triangle one on the end of a plastic pole. I’ve not used the one with the magnet. Might work a little but most I get have that heavy film and I would be skeptical it would work, though now you have my interest and I might have to try!
You have grandkids. They work well too.

Great tips! I have Griot's triangle and it works well, assuming I can squeeze into the space and survive without calling the FD for a jaws of life extraction.

I particularly like your last two lines of the post. Unfortunately, I have none of those...so I'm back to contortionist moves or, better yet, letting the detail shop do it. (Yeah, getting a bit lazy as the years pile on. 🤣)
