Welcome aboard. So I'll ask a detailing question: what's the easiest way for an old, inflexible, stiff-backed guy to clean the inside of the rear window on a 911? Ever use those magnet things that follow the outside mitt?

I'll answer that Tom - it's easy. Let someone else do it!Tom wrote: Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:50 am Welcome aboard. Ha! Yeah for sure such a pain. I’m only 5’7”. Lay down a clean moving blanket and wear socks (no shoes). There are lots of window cleaning tools. I use the square and triangle one on the end of a plastic pole. I’ve not used the one with the magnet. Might work a little but most I get have that heavy film and I would be skeptical it would work, though now you have my interest and I might have to try!Tom wrote: Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:50 am Welcome aboard. You have grandkids. They work well too.

Great tips! I have Griot's triangle and it works well, assuming I can squeeze into the space and survive without calling the FD for a jaws of life extraction.PCarDetailers wrote: Tue Mar 26, 2024 3:34 pmHa! I particularly like your last two lines of the post. Unfortunately, I have none of those...so I'm back to contortionist moves or, better yet, letting the detail shop do it. (Yeah, getting a bit lazy as the years pile on.
