991 Oil Cap Mod for AOS Manometer Use

Not worried about my AOS and because my 991 has ultra low mileage, I assume it works as it did the day it left the factory.

So I would expect to see ~15 inches of water column (according to the LN "AOS UNDERSTANDING THE PCV AND AOS SYSTEMS ON PORSCHE BOXSTER, CAYMAN, AND 911 MODELS" article.

I have the manometer but needed an oil cap with an attached fitting...

Went for a drive and tested the AOS upon return.

-14.91...close enough to -15.0.

That is sweet. You could set up a rental service where we could all do this testing on each of our own cars.

I once split the cost of a tool. I never got to see it again. Rentals? No way!

Cheap enough to make and buy, after all, you are a rich Porsche owner. :lol:
