As I approach the end of my current retirement project (https://carpokes.com/viewtopic.php?t=1720), I've started snooping around for the next victim. But this may be a bit more of a project than I want to take on...
Too much "project"?

To paraphrase Roy Scheider (RIP), if you do this one you're gonna need a bigger garage.

If it were a real 924 GTS it would be worth the project, but I suspect it is a 924 Turbo that's been decked out to look like a 924 GTS (right?). Perfect labor of love for a 924/944 diehard with lots of parts in his shed....

That's my guess. Lots of cheap fiberglass there.Tom wrote: Sat May 20, 2023 2:07 pm If it were a real 924 GTS it would be worth the project, but I suspect it is a 924 Turbo that's been decked out to look like a 924 GTS (right?).

No question that with some work, someone could turn that tired example I posted into a pretty cool looking 'tribute/replica' example. But there's a lot of work needed, and for a guy like me who does this kind of thing to sell when it's done, I don't think it'd be very easy to break even on it. Not sure there's enough market for imitations like that.Stigs cousin wrote: Sat May 20, 2023 2:52 pm Motivational Inspiration! I don't think there is a bad angle to these cars.Every angle looks good.
