Thanks! No have not driven Nelson Ledges yet although it’s on the list! Only 78 miles away so now that’s the closest track to me. Next year for sure.ROB III wrote: Thu Nov 27, 2025 9:02 am @Kjresener
Great backstory, wonderful entourage in the garage as well. Ever drive at Nelson Ledgers?

Nice!! Your car looks great - I love the clean, uncluttered lines of the S coupes.51scarlett38 wrote: Wed Dec 17, 2025 1:35 am Just checking in and enjoying the posts. have already solved one mystery related to a Macan instrument cluster.

Welcome aboard Craig! Love the S! It's beautiful and will run circles around every poster dream-car of my youth -- Porsche 959, Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Daytona, you name it... All of that with 3 times the gas mileage and about 1 to 2% of the emissions... It's a brave new world.51scarlett38 wrote: Wed Dec 17, 2025 1:35 am Just checking in and enjoying the posts. have already solved one mystery related to a Macan instrument cluster.

Love the " Silver Bullet " and glad you found the site. My wife drives a Macan also and I really enjoy that machine for any long trips -- I think they ride as well as the Cayenne imho.
Tom, you mention what my friends in the Schonesland PCA think is somewhat humorous, as I often bring up how surprising the gas mileage is. The common comment, which is somewhat expected, is that no one ever bought a 911 for the gas mileage. Delivering serviced Porsches back to customers of Porsche Des Moines I am blown away by how often I get 33-35 miles to the gallon. Set at a steady 75 most often it is humorous to me that folks are driving an exotic economy car, ha,ha. I appreciate the engineering and since this Schonesland PCA group does plenty of long distance drives it pays off in fewer frequent stops.

New member Matt Visconti. I have been into cars since a kid, and started buying VW Bugs at 16 then fixing them up to re-sell. Which may of lead me to become a car dealer with various brands, before I became a partner in a group of stores from New Jersey to Boston. Now I own a Auto Dealership M & A Business, that is in the Buy-Sell space of New Car Dealerships all around the country.
Location : Warwick, NY & Venice Beach, Florida
Some of the cars I have owned : Various VW Bugs
Two 914 Porsche 1970 & 1971
1987 Porsche 930 Turbo
1974 VW Karmin Ghia Convertible
1974 VW Thing
1990 Porsche 911 C2 Coupe
Various Mercedes Benz, including a G-Wagon with the straight 6 DOHC Engine, factory Recaro Seats, and a Double Roof made for the desert.
My latest purchase is a 2025 Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0
I think I would like to take the new Porsche to the track, as I use to race Karts on a national level for almost 10 years.
I am glad to have joined the group !

Welcome or thank you! i joined this a few years ago but can admit have never posted or been on much.
I am Tim from Quebec!
i run a small side business shop, where i also provide thousands of new and used parts to customers world wide.
There has never been much of an established business for parts in canada so i have ventured into it. at some point im sure i can probably justify it as a full time gig but for the time being, a normal 8-5, 2 kids, a house a shop and customers pretty much daily for orders or repair tech info and such is enough !
I am located just outside montreal, in quebec/canada.
Been a proud owner of some 40+ 944's, 968s, 924s, and 928s.
pretty much own 6-9 at a time. Im also proudly the owner of A.F.A.I.K the only running driving successful vw TDI swapped 944
my toy..
i do pretty much anything and everything.
thanks for the welcome again!
I am also proudly now going to have Throttle body kits in stock for our canadian brothers to help cut down on crazy shipping for you all!
with thanks to tom, if your looking for a kit hit me up!
im reachable on many forum platforms or just by email/text
