Sooo many 987 and 997s out there so i'm surprised this isn't a thing.

On BAT, I’ve seen several 997s where the entire volcanic gray console has been painted black. IMO, it looks better and more updated.

I agree. I think the painted black center console looks better.

If you are in need of Sand beige, the attached is the perfect match, provided to me, and used several times.
It is a Home Depot computer match from a console.

It's a real plus that HD will make those small containers of custom color-matched paint. I've used them for several non-automotive projects in times past.
