Which Krytox lubricant is used? Their website has several. Thanks for your useful instructions.

he only real surprise I had was washing the car with the remote key in my pocket and every time the spray hit the frunk or trunk they popped open. Found out from my son, Ryan, who sells Porsches that you need to put the key inside the car when washing. I told him I would have to mark his evaluation down for not telling me and he laughed and reminded me of the great deal he gave me, ha.
Now years of racing in loud cars from Miatas to Vipers to a Boss 302S may have made my hearing less than acute, but I am pretty pleased with how quiet or rattle free my Cayman GTS is -- even more amazing as it is 69 of the first 2024s made. Heck my wife even finds it easy to chat in and she complains about my Viper GTS and even the Mach 1 I had before the Cayman.
It worked! Yay! Thanks Ryan! (And Bill. :D )

New poster here.

Took delivery of a GT4 RS and it has a BAD rattle that’s either a loose speaker or the grill panel over it. Passenger rear right under the air intake. It will rattle for DIALOGUE let alone music. So bad you can hear it over the tire noise on the freeway.

Told my sales and service guys, and said I’d bring it in at its first oil change.

I didn’t buy the car for its stereo, but disappointing given the price point. My prior 991 and 718’s were pretty tight.

It MIGHT be the famous passenger rear cubby rattle.... Some people have come up with clever ways to silence it... I just took mine out completely.

Do a quick test. Open the cubby, and ram something in (examples below) and go for a drive.

Had those on my GT4, but they do not open on the 4RS. But it’s either that speaker or trim piece.

So nice! The Shark Blue suits the 4RS magnificently - I think yours is the first I've seen and it's a great choice! The wheels are a perfect fit too, right down my alley. Add in the black trim (and the black calipers ) and it's all tied together perfectly - great spec. You have to be a happy camper. Congrats!

Thank you for posting the pics!
