My 2.8L 4V dry-sump 933 based race car was 1970# wet (sans driver). I've never seen (or heard) another 924/944 near as light. The D/Prod 924 was fully caged and had added chassis reinforcement too. Amazing what the factory could do to produce a fly-weight race chassis without exotic metals or carbon fiber.

Based on the power increase of that other 2.8 8v motor, this one must have had significantly more Michael? That would have been a really fun little car to drive with that power to weight and n/a immediacy!

I was thinking 400-450 more weight, biased toward the rear (transmission).
corner balancing doesn't mean the same front/rear - just the same side to side with the driver on board. changing the spring seat height will get that done.
2200 lbs with 500rwhp will do just fine!
Indeed it will. Nice!
I want to taunt the 911 cup cars!!! :)
Won't they make you add weight?

Nope, its primarily a fun track day car, but if I go PCA racing it would be in GT2 class

Tell me about it, I've been on a baked potato diet for 2 weeks, so I can fit into my bike leathers.
