Tom.
I used an old business card with my old Mustang race car on the front. They knew this was old news.

I'd be glad to pay for copies of your new design shipped to me.

Ditto on the business cards. I was at Carolina Motorsports Park for an SCCA event two weekends ago and there was a 944S2 (won his class I believe) and a pair of Caymans that when I went to check them out I explained about Carpokes and its genesis, had my hat on as well.

Many Congratulations. It is also called Kershaw? This course was designed by Alan Wilson? I also raced it in a perfect weekend many few years ago.

I think Alan Wilson also designed AutoBahn (south of Chicago). I also raced it back 15 years ago? They had two courses then. I have always thought a Caymen would be a great race car.

Just spitballing ideas. How about something simple and streamline for the business cards, like this?

Tom,
It looks all good to me, but I would say CarPokes.com with the mobile phone app.

Just thinking as 'No Big Brother' line is not so much necessary. It sems a little political to me? JMO.

Why no early air-cooled cars in the picture? I'd say the early cars are important. Here:

Good input, thank you! No one said I can only have one card. :) I took that picture myself at a rennwerks, and kind of adopted it as the Carpokes look. I'll work one up with that 911 tomorrow. Would love to get more air-cooled car owners here.

Tom,
I am just replying to your thread. I have no clue how to get 52 years of the 1911, and then 15 more years with the Porsche 356. [Porsche made the early 356 in 1950 , the pre 'A".]

I say drop the Porsche 356 and concentrate on the Porsche 911 with the early water cooled 924, 928, and 944 (all 1980-1994). I say Carpokes right here.

JMO. ;)

Honestly, it's support like yours that is critical to keeping Carpokes growing. So much so that, if you'd use them, I'd he happy to do a card however you think would work best with your crowd. How about something like this? The offer is open to anyone else who thinks they'd put them to good use! You could include your member name or not, but thought that might make them easy to give out -- e.g., 'you can reach me here.....'

Yep, Kershaw as that is the closest town. The Cayman driver said it was an easy conversion to race car. His previous ride was a 993 and each computer was tied to the other so difficult to make individual mods without impacting other control units or causing system confusion. He said the Cayman was a breeze in comparison as most systems seemed stand alone, or at least could be modified without negatively impacting others and he also seemed to prefer the dynamics of the Cayman to those of his 993.....

Congrats! Glad to see 10 star is gone. Who was number 992?
