968 Turbo boost problems whilst mapping

I’m trying to load the video of the dyno run but its not allowing me to is there a max file size it’s only like 8mb

The air filter I use is probably 2 to 3 times that size, at least if yours is barely larger than what can be seen on your picture. In this case it may hinder the engine from getting all the air flow it needs to make boost, more so if you use cams "bigger" than stock.
Did you cut open the metal panel in the area where the air filter is located, below the plastic trim cover, so that it would get fresh air? IIRC this area is completely "closed".

What size piping was used for the exhaust manifolds and piping to the turbine housing?

you're running the stock ignition and fuel rail? no misfires? whats your timing like? is the AFR good? injector DC?

The exhaust system including the flat pipe is all 3”. I can’t remember the the size of tubing for the manifold but it was recommended by Rod from RP 968 before we had it made I don’t think that is the restriction. However the pipe from the cold side of the turbo to the intercooler is 3” when the actual housing from the turbo is 4”. Do do gave some concerns about this but thought it would restrict air flow more at high revs and not low. The air filter location does have air flow from the outside at that location. I will post a picture of the full air filter maybe this is also a consideration

That's a decent size for the air filter. Interested to see how it is fed with cold air, if not from above.

There's 4 boxes on the rhs of the person's post. The pencil is the edit. Click the 4th box which is the quote " icon of the post you want to reply to. It will open a new pane with their post above and then you respond underneath. If that's what you're asking?

I also echo what Thom is asking in regards to airflow to that filter? When you dyno'd the car was the hood open? Was there a big fan in front of the car? Even if there was, that's not representative of how it would be on the road with hood closed. Definitely need plenty of air getting to the system.

That’s better I can respond more quickly now. With regards to the filter location I agree it may not be the best location but space is tight in the 968. In my 944 turbo it is on the right hand side of engine bay but I don’t have lights on that car as it is rack only. With regards to the bonnet and fans when on dyno the bonnet was open and fans were used. I was going to get them to do a run with the filter and tubo completely off to see if that makes a difference.

Yes. Running stock ignition and fuel rail bigger injectors I think 850cc if that sounds right and standard cam I have a Bosch fuel pump. No misfires running very smooth. I believe all the data and levels are ok. Just not sure if the boost page is set up correctly with in vems or there is something we are missing
