These new 911s are insane. A Carrera S beating a GT3? That's mind-blowing. It’s crazy how far performance has come.

"The new Porsche 911 Carrera S accelerates faster than a GT3"

Beautiful for sure, but I think it needs the Sport Design Package to reduce black plastic and fill in the grill a bit.

Good point

Gives Porsche a challenge with the next GT cars - the world is now producing over 1000 bhp cars at the top end and there is only so much aerodynamics can do . Any bets on the GT2RS?

With the. Corvettes and Mustangs doing serious laptimes Porsche needs a devastatingly fast new model I think.

Bet your bottom dollar, the boys in Stuttgart are already watching and making a plan. I can hear it now "The Americans may have won the war, but they can never have the Ring!"

Well looks like the 992.2RS is here soon, but may not be a huge advance. The GT2RS might be the play.[url][https://www.evo.co.uk/porsche/911-gt3-r ... 017c2b/url]

I’m very happy with my 992.2 S after two months of ownership. Achingly fast, glued to the road and still gets 29mpg on the highway. Here it is with its spiritual ancestor:

Good to hear the positive feedback on your new .2 S. Glad you're enjoying it.

Beautiful cars and a great photo too! The colors of the portables in the background work well with the cars, creating an interesting and intriguing composition.

I need to locate some good photo opportunity spots. I know they exist but I never remember to actively look for them. (Also, hard to do when driving, especially in our typically heavy traffic that is largely constant and everywhere anymore. :( )

Come on out to east TN and we will run the mountians. Beautiful scenery, great roads and none of that traffic, mostly 8-)

I meant to reply earlier that your suggestion is a good one. Would be great to get that way!
