Very nice work, similar to my build. What size injectors were you running? I'm interested to know if I went big enough.

They are rated at 740cc at 3 bar, but I'm running base fuel pressure of 3.5 bar, so roughly 860cc. I had them left over from the V6 I had before. I knew they would be too small, but it's pretty easy to upgrade and rescale later.Bergerac wrote: Thu Sep 12, 2024 1:02 am Very nice work, similar to my build. What size injectors were you running? Stock, on a Mantis bracket.
I did the machining. The shelf Wossners for S2 have a very thick crown.944m3 wrote: Mon Jul 21, 2025 9:20 pm That is really cool.
You mentioned you have dished pistons. I’m assuming you had them dished at a machine shop? How much was removed? I’m thinking of doing the same thing.
I printed it in carbon reinforced nylon. I've got one more revision I'm going to make on the front cover, but the rear half fits nicely and uses the original cam sensor. It could be but from aluminum easily.BasHenneman wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 3:12 am Great build! Did you get the cam cover? If now; I have them
I'll get one cnc'd from Aluminum soon too![]()
Ah you made a full new cover, not just a cover plate for the front!TC72 wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 6:44 amI printed it in carbon reinforced nylon.
