Thanks for the info. I'm definitely going to look into this. Good to know that Stage 1 is all that's needed to transform the listening experience!

The speakers offer a significant improvement and, as I mentioned before, “transform the listening experience.” However, I’m not an audiophile and am not that concerned with thumping bass from the door speakers. Your experience may differ. The nice part is that you can go with Stage 1, and if not satisfied, can upgrade to Stage 2 or 3 without losing $$$.

Like many of you I took the opportunity to take the group discount and ordered stage one Spyder speaker upgrade. I paid my $400 deposit on December 9. I have called Nick once and emailed him twice to find out when the speakers would arrive so I could schedule the installation. His prior email was up-to 10 days. Nick hasn’t responded at all…….:disappointing.

Does anybody have an update on their speaker purchase?

Hmm…I received my speakers in about five days after ordering. The price was $595 all in. This was before the group buy discount. I do remember having better luck getting a response from Nick by calling him than via email.

Thank you for the update. There’s obviously a problem with my order for the speakers.

Don’t worry yet…according to the Group Buy, the first 20 orders for Stage 1 will be fulfilled late Jan/Early Feb per his post on RL. He’s also Vacation at the moment. Hang in there.

I replaced the Bose dash tweeters with Burmester tweeters and the difference is amazing, for $130 shipped (Delaware Porsche Parts), which is a fraction of Musicars Stage 1. I have a LOUD Spyder and could have optioned the whole Burmester system but I did not want to waste money since I knew I was going to change the exhaust so the simple/cheap upgrade is perfect for me.

Didn’t you have the Musicar tweeters in a prior Porsche? How do the new ones sound in comparison?

I never had any Burmester stuff in a P-car before this, just my G Wagen. Here is the part# for the Burm tweeters, which is the same for both: https://www.delawareporscheparts.com/oe ... 7pp035412a
