Just learning how to participate a little more in tis incredible carpokes.
Yesterday saw your lighter refurb, looked nice. I include in the kit a water based polyurethane, that I like better than the rustoleum you used, since it is clear"er" (If that is a word), as most solvent based clears tend to have a bit of an amber shade to them. The water based Polycrilic from Minwax has excellent uv resistance and excellent leveling properties, so anyone can get a great finish, even with a brush.
But the decals or transfers will work with either.
By no means are they absolutely perfect, but we upgrade small details in every batch, although I feel good with what we have right now, and all the switches will look much better.
