Amelia Werks Reunion on March 3rd, 2023

How many Porsches (show and corral) do you suppose will be there this year? I don't have a good sense of scale and need to be more aware for future Carpokean promotional efforts.


Also, if there is a meet-up, free carpokes hats for all!

Just checked the registration list for the event and there’s currently 162 registered for the judged field (sold out) and 521 currently registered for the coral currently but there’s still space available.

We have many Porsches registered, and you are 1 of over 700 Porsches ready to invade Amelia Island at the Amelia River Golf Club on Friday, March 3, 2023.

Your Corral and Judged hang tags were mailed out the week of 2/13. Please hang it from your interior rearview mirror so that our parking assistants can be able to send you in the correct direction. If you didn’t receive the hang tag before leaving for Amelia, we will have a will call/troubleshooting table at the entrance for assistance.

I think I'll post my phone number as a PM here before the weekend. We can text each other as to location. It's still difficult to do with 700 Porsche cars.

My neighbor 3 houses down is hard to find. He is a big deal in the PCA Peachstate Region but hard to find on the grounds at Werks for the last 3 years.

I just got a call from my friend in Jacksonville Beach. He is R Gruppe and a trusted friend. He is also a long-time PCA member. His PCA decal says 40 Year Member under the decal. He knows a bunch of Porsche owners and Officers.

What is your membership? I am past 10 year but not yet 20 Year. I am not sure when you get the lower badge?

He didn't get his pass for his really slow Porsche 356. He rides with me in the hour drive from the Jacksonville Beach to the Amelia Island Porsche show. [The normal water Ferry ride is not in operation due to government required maintenance.]

We'll get there.

They have a bunch of Porsche guys in these two Islands. They are all 100% welcome on this site.

Tom promised no hard work - all fun and games. Have I been had???

No Vols opinions Doc, although I do make sure I keep the peace with fellow Tennesseans since I have lived here a large part of my life. I'm kind of ambivalent to UT if truth be known.

I have to make an admission - I'm a U of Mich graduate. Twice. Not a lot of Big Ten fans down South.
