Keep up the great work! Beautiful car! Could you provide any power/torque figures?

@barry356911 - great to hear from you. I enjoyed your video on the last of the air-cooled Turbo S's - thanks for sending it. If the chance pops up to visit Michigan, try to wait until at least late November or December. That way, you can see the Alfa 4C, the 935 Porsche AND the Lola T70. The Lola restoration has been delayed, but should be completed by that time. Actually, the best time to see the cars would be in later Spring of 2024, so you could drive them, as well.

@89carrera - Based on dyno records supplied by Barry, and the estimates of the TPC corporation relative to the installation of their water-to-air intercooler, the engine should be providing about 415 hp and about 385 lb/ft of torque. Barry upgraded to a Kennedy clutchpack and lightened Patrick flywheel. He also rebuilt the G50 trans, adding Albins gears and Guard LSD, so no weak links in the drivetrain.

Just see this post now. Interesting "Flachbau", LOL, I had to spell it correct.

This must be a beast to drive.

Any picture of the interior and engine ?

Cheers
Engelbert

@Carmagic - "FLAKBAU" is all that will fit on Michigan custom license plates - hence, the name.

Images of the interior will follow when I finally get her back from last winter's round of upgrades and maintenance. She's been at the shop for one year now. I would have already recieved the car, but BBS wheel problems cost me amother 4 to 5 months. The first contractor botched the job, which included resurfacing and powdercoating the centers, and polishing the rims. We fired the first guys, and went with the second choice contractors (which were really our first choices, but were too busy at the time we let the work). The second guys had to put us on a waiting list, leading to more delays. The refinished wheels are on the car now, and I will soon deliver her home. At least I will get lots of long looks at her fulsome silhouette this winter.
