struggling to get seat out cause bolts are rusted from sitting in The Great Northwet for five freaking years. Penetrating fluid and allens with a small breaker for leverage got the bolts out and come to find that the seat back will not stay up.
As we used to say in the Silly Valley, "Is this a feature will no benefit?" Is the seat FUBAR or has someone been able to repair the seat back adjustment? Even if it were held in place. would be fine.

Can you get the seat out of the car? My 'guess' is that the hook that latches the seat in place upright is gummed up -- might get lucky by just cleaning and lubricating the mechanism...?

thanks Tom. Seat is out. How to get to "hook"? Is it behind the plastic cover by left side rear of seat?
And there was a small hook with fabric attached that had torn off but the hook was in a hole in the rail.

forgot to mention that these seats are power Recarros. I am selling them but prefer for them to be working.
