The HID headlights on my 2010 997.2 were terrible. I just bought it about 3 months ago in Miami and had to drive it home in the dark and dark it was. I thought I had gone blind. I installed Morimoto Led headlights and its like daytime now when driving at night. The only compatibility problem is the warning messages "Dynamic cornering light failure" and "Headlight beam adjustment faulty". Not messages that are an issue as one pull of the stalk and it goes away. However it does bug my wife. The local Porsche service guy blew me off and said the PWIIS could not and was not allowed to correct the fault message. It isn't a big deal but was I blown off by a snobbish service rep as I had told him about the Morimoto light conversion or does Porsche not allow the service guys to delete the warning note? Or would one of the other OBD tools correct the issue?

Maybe an Indy specializing in Porsches would be more helpful than the dealer ?

I'm a member of Space Coast also. If you don't mind who is your indi? My indi doesn't have a PWIIS.

Problem solved as the indie I use was at Kars and Kaffee today and he said he could solve the problem. Thanks for your reply.

I use EPR and they don't have a PWIIs either. I live with the warning that my lights aren't adjusted even tho they are.
