The Porsche Production Specification is $150.
Looks simple, fill out a form and enter your VIN.
I have read the Porsche marketing pitch, just wondering if anyone had gone thru the process and thoughts on value.

It used to be called Certificate of Authenticity and there was some discussion in a thread back in December.

It's pretty neat - I did it for the Turbo S to see what the real thing would look like. Is it worth $150? Well, that's certainly debatable but not unexpected nor unrealistic considering it's Porsche. They're gonna charge a premium for everything!

my last Boxster S came with a CoA. I have the Monroney label from the current car. Not sure what a CoA would add. If you google Porsche Monroney label you can get it for free with your VIN

Can also download a PDF of the Monroney from the MyPorsche.com website when logged in. (That's assuming one's car has been added to their Porsche account.)

Interestingly, Porsche furnished a nice Porsche Production Specification certificate (CoA) for free with the '19 Cayenne Turbo, same as they furnished to you with your previous Boxster. However, no such thing with the 992. A la carte like everything else. No more freebies. Just like the fees for Euro delivery. Or Atlanta delivery. Or LA delivery.

Regarding the CoA, Porsche updated the program and renamed it the Porsche Production Specification (PPS) in 2019. I think it's mostly the same as when it was called the CoA but in any case, the certificate is different than the Monroney - it's on super heavyweight paper too - nice for posterity or even framing. See the really nice framed CoA that Fasteddie99 put together and posted when we were discussing this last year. It looks good! https://www.carpokes.com/viewtopic.php?t=2467#p26669

PS - I just noticed that I paid $125 for my PPS this past December and it's now $150, so apparently Porsche has raised the price on those too. From free for buying a new Porsche to $125 to $150 and beyond I'm sure as time moves forward. Why am I not surprised...

My 2024 718 came with a PPS in a nice folder, which came in the mail nearly 2 months after taking delivery. I was pleasantly surprised, as I was going to order one because I think they are cool. I am in Canada, not sure if that matters. Trying to figure out a cool way to frame it.

I think @P_Coastal can attest to this... We get quite a bit of swag up here in Canada from Porsche.

@blueline did you ever find a cool way to frame yours?

That's great that they give one with new car deliveries for our Canadian pals - they should! No idea why they stopped doing it in US but still provide them there - maybe Porsche fears the Mounties! Or they dislike Yanks. Or they're being cheap. Or they just forgot.

I haven't framed mine but doing so is not yet off the radar!

*Not* worth the $150. You can get the same information from MyPorsche once you register - for free.

Only thing it might be good for down the road is when selling - folks seem to like having the certificate - but I don't see how that is worth $150...

I did it, and wish I hadn't.

But, oh well. :)
