You might want to forget about the track day until you get it sorted out by your local Porsche Mechanic... No way to tell how serious the fault is until its diagnosed.
It could be anything...
Tank vent valve
PDK issue
Evaporation leak
Gas cap leak
Misfire
PSM issue
But for sure just wait till it's diagnosed... While it says its "Safe to Drive", that does not mean its "Safe to Track"
I once had a fault on my Macan GTS similar to yours... Turned out to be just grease on a sensor

Make sure your gas cap has 'clicked' shut. If not, it will set off that light. Click it tight and see if the light goes out in a day or two. You can also pick up an OBDII code ready for peanuts these days and see what the fault is. They have them at most auto parts stores and, of course, Amazon...

I've had this twice now on my '22 4 liter. First was the transmission speed sensor. Last week at my two year service the tech said it was due to the cooling fans not turning off. A known problem. They flashed a fix. So we'll see.

Turned out to be P2C4100: Engine compartment purge fan 1. Reset and works fine.
I suspect a piece of track rubber momentarily stopped the fan and then fell out. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago where the fan actually got jammed! I need to get side inlet grills.
