Anyone know where I might find a bolt / screw like this? It's under the dash of my old Mercedes. I've looked at all the usual places and can't seem to find it. I'm guessing a Mercedes dealer could find the part number with enough effort, but was hoping to avoid all that... It has an 8mm hex head, measures 4.6mm in diameter, 14mm long and has a pitch of about 1.75 by my measurements, so like a sheet meal or self-tapping screw.

Unbelievably, I found a near-perfect match at my local hardware store. It was in one of those Hillman cardboard box collections, labeled Automotive Body bolts. It's a tad longer than needed, but fits like a glove and is even yellow zinc coated. Sometimes you just get lucky! :)
