Happy holidays everyone,

I recently had a experience with "Broadfoot Racing" after purchasing a 3" exhaust that was supposed to take a month but hasn't arrived after three. Their phone line seems nonexistent now, and their website is down, making me question the legitimacy of the whole thing. I since hit a chargeback on them because it was obvious I was never getting what I paid for. Their shop on Google Maps looked legit  , so I'm wondering if anyone else here has had similar issues. Is this just a one-off situation or a pattern with them ?

Welcome to Carpokes! Google "Broadfoot Racing" to see similar comments going back for years and years. The internet can create a skewed impression of people /companies, since complaints seem to get all the air-time, but when you hear the same types of things across multiple forums over several decades, it would seem to be more than just a one-off situation.

Albert is definitely a real guy, but he is an absolute nutjob. I think there's some merit to the stories, but anybody I've met locally (down here in FL) who has had work done by him has no complaints aside from the timeliness of it.

As for my experience, I was friends with him on FB for years, but blocked me last year because he was too much of a snowflake about me having a different political opinion than him...lol
He also banned me from his 944 parts selling FB group too for that matter.

That's unfortunate, I guess I could've given him more time but it was the fact that I couldn't get in contact with anyone spooked me out.

I think you did the right thing. If he were anywhere close to shipping your parts, I have to believe you would have received some reassurance to that effect. Too many stories over too many years -- at some point it just is what it is....

Albert has been helpful on the Facebook groups, that said I've seen enough of these stories to hesitate ordering anything from him that had to be built.

Keep an eye out on the Fabspeed site, I just picked up one of their exhausts for 20% off and it shipped within 2 weeks

Ordered my exhaust from him in June or July of 2022 after I got my car. It was definitely a long wait, but a quality product. I had his catback on my first 944 turbo as well back in 2010.
