Porsche 944, late offset, left side aluminum control arm
This is/was a previously-rebuilt control arm. I bought it in 2012 from Vertex Auto if memory and records serve me.
It is NOT rebuildable with a normal DIY kit (like the excellent Rennbay kit).
Rather, the collar and bore for the ball have been machined out and a steel sleeve pressed and pinned in place. It looks like genuinely nice work. However, there was no way to replace the ball w/o destructive disassembly. The assembly was retained from below with a formed collar and large retaining plate. I documented the Disassembly Here
So, I have this control arm that I don't need and that's probably tough to sell. You'd need a proper mill to re-do the sleeve and re-insert a ball joint. But if that's your kind of thing, this might be just for you.

I've had this floating around my spare parts for about a year. It will require the attention of a machinist or determined DIY-er.
