We race a 944 in Lemons and have over heating issues, especially at higher altitude tracks.

About to re-do our entire cooling system. What do y’all use?

I can only run water in the system.

Straight water (distilled, not tap) cools great. My car was always hot when I first got it and no amount of water-wetter, radiator cleaning, or low-temp thermostats really helped. I ended up getting a brand new factory radiator and it was a night and day difference. Even with my 3 liter running 20psi, there is no problem anymore. Beyond that, consider a bigger oil cooler and your tune (and of course the ducting). There is also the Wizard aluminum radiator the V8 swap guys like, and a few other oversize aluminum radiators out there.

The Chinesium alloy radiators seem to be quite good, especially for a racecar for the $ amount. I have a 951 size one sitting in my parts stash waiting for a car to need a radiator. Thought about putting it in my S2 but I don't think it needs it.
