First off, I’m very glad to have been invited to an “old school” forum.

I’m sure a lot of you know who I am and the craziness I’ve done with these cars in the past. Well, I’m still doing crazy stuff, but a little different nowadays. I’m sure some of y’all will be happy to hear I’m not really drag racing this “non drag racing car” much anymore. :)

Ended up selling my 3L hybrid stroker awhile ago. It was still running great and supplying me with a lot of fun. (Was making around 600 hp based on trap speeds) However, after building a bunch of these things, I’ve decided that I am the type of person that is going to end up pushing the block beyond it’s real limitations, and it would be better to sell it before I break it. I have been building Mitsubishi engines to make around 8-900 hp pretty regularly anymore, so I decided to go that route in the 944. I think having the extra 3000rpm power band will make for a ton of fun.

My goals for it in the future are to try out the Texas mile, the Colorado airstrip stuff and some other top speed events.

I still have a little ways to go, but hopefully I can get motivated somehow to finish this thing up this year.

I look forward to reading about others builds and where they are now.
