Throttle Body Options

After pressure testing my intake system, I found a leak at the bottom of my throttle body. I’ve read as much as I can find on what to do next, including rebuilding it, but I can’t find any kits available. Arnnworx is down and Paragon is out of stock.

Should I just buy 3 O-rings or do I need to buy other parts? What about upgrading to a larger one? Any help and recommendations are appreciated.

TIA

Try to source o-rings and if needed, the needle bearings. There is little point fitting a larger one if you are running stock size valves.

I'm pretty sure I have an old kit. Let me see how much of it I can replicate. The key parts are the o-rings for the throttle shaft, and I'm sure McMaster has those.

I have seen several sites that have the O-rings, FCP Euro and Pelican has them as well.
Tom, let me know what you have and I’ll make the trip up there to get it.

Thanks Thom and Tom.

Also I can measure my oring kit when I get home

If you can find a can of this No Flash contact cleaner it’s the best thing I have ever used to clean out a throttlebody.

Blasted the bearings spotless and that was looking through a magnification scope at my work.

My bad

I got distracted working on my motorcycle last night.
Will try to remember when I get home today.

I have 3 throttlebody’s apart and a 4th from Soloracer’s car ready to come apart.

So correct me if I’m wrong here, I will need 1 large O-ring, 2 small O-rings, no flash contact cleaner, and 2 small circlips?
