To 914 or not to 914…that is the question

I have always had a love for the lines, the sound, and the drive of the 914. After my recent purchase of the Taycan Cross Turismo (following some 911s), I find myself drawn to making a smaller investment in a 914 or older 911 to get the feel, the drive, and the smell of the classic. Don’t get me wrong, the tech and power of the Taycan is something from the future, but I think I need to round out that garage with a classic. So…is 914 the right move or should I consider a 912 or 1980s 911? Curious of opinions…thanks!

I went to Werks Reunion yesterday and have to say this was one of my favorite cars there. Not sure a car can feel more vintage Porsche than this, and still 'relatively' affordable compared to other Porsches of the era...
