Anyone here going? I should have rented a booth for Carpokes, but had too many distractions, so am thinking I may try to pop in for a bit so as not to miss it entirely.... Look for the Carpokes hat. :)

It was a great event today. I'll post more pictures over the weekend, but thought I'd start with this -- by far the most interesting vehicle I saw today, just outside of the show. Not a Hollywood prop! This was an authentic, running vehicle. Pictures don't actually do it justice -- the amount of effort that went into this moving masterpiece must have been off the charts. I bet it would sell for a small fortune at auction, if they had the right crowd.

Now that is cool! (That would make an awesome tailgate vehicle too!)

It was a real Porsche car hauler back in its day. He found it on eBay or something.

He spent money restoring it, but the rig can still transport at least two cars. He loads them up in the rig and gets a good spot at the Werks Reunion at Amelia Island. Who else brings a real Porsche hauler? The rear door folds down to load cars.

He races fast cars in HSR. He may be at Monterey this weekend?
