Since I'm finally jumping in here I though I woudl share the latest project track car. Took a while to get it 'happy', tire rub killed the first weekend, a broken throttle cable killed the next outing but I just got back from 2 days of 'running in' time (low boost - about 12 psi). I have driven LOT of 944 tack cars - at 12 psi I was faster than the track prepped GT3s in a straight line. Suspension needs some adjusting to get it faster - but thats the fun of new track cars!
3.1 liter Darton sleeves
Mahle pistons
mild porting
Vitesse cam
Link Thunder ECU
boost control by ECU with a 11 position knob - 1 click per PSI
Lots and lots of data
