Does anyone know if there is touch up paint available for the 997.1/987.1 center consoles?
I've got a little knick that i'd like to make look better.
I tried googling and didn't turn up much.

I went on a hunt for something similar recently to match a bezel to a modern Porsche interior. I came up pretty much empty. I did find this, and a few others like it:
But with so many different Porsche interior colors in that same basic range, the odds seemed pretty low that it would match what I was looking for.
I also had someone who really wanted a bezel in Texas burnt orange. Weirdly, all efforts to get that color off the shelf failed, so I ended up getting a starter pack of acrylic paints from amazon, watching a bunch of videos on matching paint colors, and mixing my own in a little one once jar. If you got a set of metallic acrylics, like the one linked below, I bet you could get mighty close by just adding the white and black to the silver as needed until you have the exact color:
I wouldn't paint and entire car is this kind of paint, but for stippling in a little chip like that (or even airbrushing), I suspect you can get a great results that will last plenty long. My only hard-earned tip is that liquid acrylic is milky white before they add the color, but that milky white dries clear, so to get a good match you need to mix it to something that looks a shade lighter than you want, then dab a little bit and let it dry to see the actual/final color. Here's a video I did to celebrate the Texas-colored bezel, and you can see how many time I tried to get the color right -- and how many of them were too dark until I figured out that secret!

Great advice Tom. I may give that a shot if I don't find anything through further searching.
Sooo many 987 and 997s out there so i'm surprised this isn't a thing.

On BAT, I’ve seen several 997s where the entire volcanic gray console has been painted black. IMO, it looks better and more updated.

Yeah that does look great. Eric from bumperplugs.com can do it.
It's just more than I want to spend on this particular car. Was looking for a super cheap solution. LOL

Well, for $7.99 it's hard to go too wrong. My concern would be the paint needs to be very thin to flow in a pen like that, so less likely to 'fill-in' the chip. How about a bottle of Testors silver for $2.09

I suppose anything silver in that spot will look better than the black. It's a 17 year old car with 128K miles and this is what i'm nitpicking about. haha

Maybe Dr. Colorchip has a solution. I have not looked beyond exterior colors on their site, but it might be worth a look. A lot priceier than Testors, though.
