Added the blend mount and hard wired to the rear view mirror. Don't have self dimming mirror but Uniden does turn off after 10 minutes.

Oh that looks good!! I tapped into my black+red and brown(ground) the last time I did it, care to share which pinouts you tapped? Thanks!

Excited to do mine when the car arrives. I'd like to find wiring that turns off with motor.

I taped into brown wire and black/red. It’s always on though since I don’t have the self dimming mirror. Just set the Uniden to turn off automatically.

I just ordered an R7. Should be doing the blendmount install this week. If I do have the self dimming mirror which pins should I tap for the mirror tap install?

Try this. It’s based on a 991 I believe but should be similar since you have self dimming.
