Anyone with a newer Porsche wanting to have wireless Carplay, the Cplay2Air is on sale right now for $90. No affiliation, just a satisfied user. Mine works great and there is an Android dongle available (not from Cplay2air) as well.

Can you post the link? Can you tell the difference in sound quality between wireless and wired?

Cplay2air.com

I cannot tell any difference, but keep in mind my hearing is typical for a 74 yr old who has fired way too many guns without hearing protection.

I’m 67 yo with too many years of loud hard rock music. I probably couldn’t tell the difference but if someone reassured me I’d feel better about it. Do you have a link for the $90 price?

My email just said 3 day sale and gave the link I posted. They offer it at that price pretty regularly.

Not sure this link works but I copied it on my tablet from the email. I reread it and this is the newer version dongle with better performance. Sometimes mine takes 3-4 minutes to connect and sometimes it's quicker. Claims are the new one is quicker and smoother.

A couple years ago I bought a cplay2air, the unit I received would not work. They have a mailbox in Delaware, but are not US based, any returns or issues are all dealt with via China. They never did send me a replacement or provide a refund, so I dealt with it via my credit card. Just ended up being a pain in the ass. Use caution and keep your fingers crossed you don't have an issue if you order from them.

The cplay2air is actually a rebranded U2W CarlinKit Wireless CarPlay adapter.

On their website, their office address: Solutions4Auto, 364 E Main Street, Suite 1012, Middletown, DE 19709

What's really at 364 E Main Street.

Huh. I just received an update file for mine from them, very polite and requesting I let them know how it goes. My unit was dropping connection after a dealer visit and I was afraid the PIWIS had messed it up,but after a day sitting it's now working fine. I'll still install the flash updates when I get time. Sorry to hear you had trouble.
