Air Conditioning Strange Behavior

My new 2022 CGTS has a strange anomaly with its air conditioning. Sometimes on first start-up, the AC compressor does NOT come on and the Auto Air blows warm.
Stopping, shutting the car off, then restarting resolves the glitch and all is back to normal.
Also, I have experienced the AC compressor turning itself back ON after a few minutes of driving, no car restart needed.
Anyone else experiencing this strange AC misbehavior?
I suspect the AC compressor activation is getting skipped in the start-up sequence on occasion. Software problem?

That’s not something I’ve experienced over 11 months with my CGTS. Sorry I don’t have better advice other than to check with your service manager.

I have experienced this once in my '22 GTS 4.0, thought it to be bizarre. Due for 10,000 mile service in a couple of months and it will be mentioned to the SA. I suspect a software issue.

My car did that one time. On my car, the climate control is operated through the PCM screen. Not sure if that's true on the 718? At any rate, when it happened, I went to the climate control screen and the buttons that normally let me turn on or off the a/c simply weren't there. Subsequently, my PCM screen started malfuntioning and would go monochrome from time to time. The dealer replaced my PCM screen and the neither the screen or the a/c has had any issues since.

Not switched on/off thru PCM. If it is, I am not aware of that.

Not sure about AC, but glitches with various systems, mostly software related, have been fairly common on both my 981 and my 718. After several months of perfect operation, the bluetooth connection to my phone and to my CarPlay adapter is acting strangely. As some of these issues seem to magically resolve themselves, I am waiting hopefully.

Yes. Had that issue with my 2022 GTS4.0after maybe 15 mins of driving it resolved . Not many drives since then but ever since the air is cold

I have a 2022 CGTS 4.0. Twice, when starting the car with the AC button on, the air compressor didn’t turn on even though the AC light was on. Both times, I turned off the ignition and restarted and the problem was corrected - I’ll mention it at my oil service in two months.

Software glitches. Does not bode well for Porsche EV future where software, not mechanical, is king.

I really detest my 718 climate controls and operation, including the incessant loud fan speed.
