Hi, I just pulled my center console apart and removed the radio because I didn't like how it looked and it didn't have great reception either...
I'd like to know what people have done for radios. I'm wanting to find something that looks period. I'd love to slap a blaupunkt in there (and maybe still will if I can find one at a decent price).
I'll post some pix of the one I pulled out as well as some pix of my console out of the car.
Also wondering what the three wires are for that were under the console not connected to anything?

Oh, and I can't quite figure out why but the light for the ashtray does not seem to want to come on - I've replaced the bulb but still no go - even when I have the key on and the lights turned on... Any ideas?
