I have been invited to show my 2002 996.2 TARGA at Werks reunion. I will be working at the PCA membership "tent". Monterey Car Week is a car guy/gal's dream venue.....recommend it for everyone.
Saw my 1st Porsche, in 1962, at age 11, whilst riding with Dad in his VW, in Tucson, AZ.
Love at 1st sight....
Now, 35 Porsches later.....what can I say.

Great Day !!!!! Mother Nature cooperated with cool kind temps and little wind till late in the afternoon. The food was awesome. I did see a few RW Region badges. The TARGA was "display only", so, no judges (thank goodness) We signed up a bunch of new PCA members from all over the US, and even Mexico.
The drive back to Santa Rosa took about 4 hours...there's just no easy way to get through or around SF.

I'm bummed that I had to miss it this year. As a consolation to myself, I went to the Ferrari event in Carmel on Thursday... Cool car, but the marine layer was in full effect and gave way to light sprinkles at times....
