I would keep the seatbelts tightly fastened.
It is very difficult to pivot quickly from a clear EV direction to some kind of hybrid.
The Chinese market it not coming back soon, Porsche currently has a hole in the middle of the product range with no sports cars below the 911, a gap where the Macan is no long marketed in Europe, and a collapse of margin, so now have a major reinvestment, cost slash, and still have to convince investors that the fall in stock value is recoverable.
Further, the Chinese and Korean manufacturers are on a tear with BYD suddenly bigger than Tesla. I full expect to see sports cars at the higher end. Will they suddenly deliver the Porsche heritage? No. But for younger buyers who cannot get entry-level Porsches there will be incentives on the global market place to try something new.
I say the above as a confirmed long-term Porsche enthusiast with five of them in the garage. I do hope there is a way out of this, but it is not gong be at all easy.

I think VW will sell off Porsche as VW is hurting . Yes Porsche is hurting also but has proven it can stand on its own two feet .
