resetting trip odometer

can someone please enlighten me on the process. i havent needed the feature until recently and none of my “key words” will produce a result in the owners manual.

thanks in advance…..the car is a 2023 911 GTS.

Try looking for "Driving Data Display" in your printed Owners Manual index. (That's where it is for my 992.1) I used "trip" for my Owners Manual word search.

Or, is the OP talking about this “trip odometer?” Just depress the black button for a couple of seconds and the trip counter below the digital odometer resets to zero.
I reset mine every time I fill up.
Your 911 may not have this “mechanical” reset owing to its more modern interior.

The OP's car is a 992.1 which doesn't have the mechanical reset. It's digital, same as both my 911s (992.1 and 992.2). The Owners Manual images I posted are out of the '22 911.

I sure do miss real gauges on 911s ...

PS - yes, I have the same reset as you on the 718s.
