Has anyone EVER replaced the rear view mirrors on a Porsche 944 with any style other than the 968 mirror that looks half decent??? I’m thinking that the dated flagship mirror deserves a little upgrade….

Im replacing mine with one from a subaru that has homelink built into it for my garage doors and auto dimming. Gentex makes most of if not all rearview mirrors.

Let me know how you make out with the installation, Does it require any additional sensors to be installed??

To be more specific, I’m talking about the rear view mirrors on the doors NOT the one on the windshield…

Trouble is looking for suitable replacement options for the wing / side view mirrors on a 944 other than 968 mirrors. Lastly were you referring to the mirror itself or the entire assembly?

The entire assembly.. I’ve got my eye on a Sebring California mirror that uses the same mounting as my flasgstaff mirror with minor modifications… I’m willing to give up the power options as well….

THATS the exact video I watched!!!!! Pegasus Racing sells those mirrors for $90 a piece…
