My rear tab on my factory airbox, below the charge hose strap, is gone on the bottom of the air box. I have been scouring the internet for possible solutions since I noticed that the 3 remaining screw attachments are not doing enough to keep debris and hot air from entering that corner; I can see the pattern of dirt on my K&N filter.
What have any of you done to fix or create a tighter seal for those missing tabs?
Air Box broken tabs fixes, anyone?

I had the same problem, both the tab on the upper cover and the part the screw threaded into were smoked.
I tape formed and jb welded the tab at the top and drilled a hole.
For the bottom part, I printed this in ABS: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:47981 ... e_vignette
and glued/plastic welded it in place.

pizatski- Thanks! That's is exactly what I was hoping for! I was looking for some kind of mini clamp or super clamp, etc. but not even considering 3D printing and plasti-welding/gluing the missing tab,

Same, I initially just plastic welded them, but it didn't hold. Ended up switching to epoxy to get good adhesion all the way through and be able to build it up and reinforce them. Not the prettiest, but the best solution short of a new $500 airbox.gb951 wrote: Wed May 27, 2026 1:54 pm https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IBOK7FE
