I needed a fuel hose and go out of my way to by OE rather than URO part from Porsche Delaware parts online and was shocked to find it was Made in China. Rather disappointing that it’s not Made in Germany.

My understanding is that the quality can be quite good, but the buyer needs to drive the specs and quality standards. My guess is that Porsche holds its suppliers to fairly strict standards, so the fact that it's made in china doesn't necessarily mean it's low-quality. I think you see that mostly when the Chinese create their own knock-offs of things and/or buyers either drive them to the lowest price or don't know to manage the quality very closely. My guess is that hose is as good as any sold by Porsche...

I hope it is good since Porsche put their.logo on the part. I don’t think I ever bought a part from the Porsche dealer that was made in China I guess there is always a first.
