Silicone Vacuum Hose Clamps

I imagine a great number of you have replaced all your vacuum hoses. Curious, what are you using for hose clamps?
I am leaning with using fuel line/mini bolt clamps. They seam to be the most recommended clamp for silicone and high pressure applications. Oetiker high pressure also come highly recommended.
It appears that gear clamps (the normal hose clamp like on coolant lines) is what comes with most kits. Am I over-thinking this and should I just stick to my normal Norma/Awab/Aba euro and lined hose clamps?

When I purchased my vacuum line kit from Lindsey racing, they provided a portion of larger diameter hose meant to cut into sections and stretch over the ends on the lines to act as an elastic clamp. I’m not a big fan of this method as it’s visually unappealing, but that’s just me being picky.

oh interesting. I bet it provides a nice seal though.
I can see that being visually not awesome ha ha.
I have had everything freshly zinc plated so I'm looking to make sure mine looks nice too!

No need to have a different (larger) diameter hose, it’s possible to use the same hose diameter for both lines and clamps. Takes a bit of fiddling with, but with a little practise works nicely.

I also bought the Lindsey kit. For vacuum lines I just use the spring clamps. I'm NA so there isn't ever any pressure there. Although on other turbo cars I've done the same and been fine.
T-bolt or worm drive the bigger (AOS, intake boot, brake booster) vac lines.

Right on!
I'm going to be using the following:
Oetiker High Pressure Clamps:
- the AOS
- the breather valve on the AOS
- the split/halfway points for the hose going to the brake booster
Mini Bolt/Fuel Clamps:
- all of the small 13mm hoses off the vacuum manifold
- the two hoses where they connect to the idle control valve
Norma/Euro Style Hose Clamps:
- All the rest of them.
