Lookin for procedure to clear displayed trouble indicators for type 964 Porsches

Looking for a procedure to clear trouble code indicators for type,964 Porsches 1989 to 1994. These cars are OBD I. Scan tools for OBD II are of no assistance, at least the ones that have been tried.

Per the Durametric site below, to clear the codes, turn the ignition to the on position and hold down the gas pedal for 11 seconds.
(To see the codes, only hold the pedal down 3 to 5 seconds, and the check engine light will blink out the codes.)
