Not often you see a Carrera RS outside of a Concours,but nice to see It driven in the Arizona sunshine.......

Are you sure it's real one ? Normally they have the rear 3 piece rear bumper with the red reflectors next to the chromed bumper guard.

Not sure at all in fact. Especially the plate might indicate a replica.

3-piece bumper was only on the Touring package. Most RS came with the 'glass 1-piece.

I think you're in luck, then. After looking at the pictures full size, I'm 98% sure it's a backdate. Lots of small details not correct.

But still plenty close enough for me to drive as well.

Oops! Missed that clue. So probably a backdated '84 Carrera 3.2. Which is a great platform for an RS tribute.
