LWBS Removal

Has anyone removed a LWBS in a 718? Thinking about removing the passenger LWBS to give my dog some room to lay down

Do I have to disconnect the battery for the airbag sensor? I see there are 4 bolts, not sure if there is anything else I'm missing.

I have only done this in the 981 GT4 Don’t know if the 718 is different it was simple just a harness snap out with a zip tie to cut, and the 4 bolts and your done but!! Big but … If you remove the seat and drive the car or turn the key you’re going to get a warning airbag sensor light coming on and it won’t go off until it’s cleared.
