The vendor includes a video on how to replace original with color matched cover.

Very cool. Have a link to the seller? What color is that? It looks darker than the python I did your bezels in, at least the indoor shots...

Tom

It’s supposed to be Python Green - not exact but close enough.

The vendor has a range of colors and it fits well. They offer white 🤣🤣🤣

The description says painted but the plastic is a solid color throughout.

It took less than 4 weeks to arrive - I believe some colors are more readily available.

U can search on Amazon

I’ve heard that the Amazon ones are better quality and last longer than the OEM ones that Porsche sells. My car is GT Silver with black leather and the key fob is silver and black so I left it alone. I did get the dummy ignition key leather wrapped in black Porsche leather with chalk deviated stitching to match my interior. It looks much better and has a great tactile feel when starting the engine.

Larry - looks nice

One thing I learned - eventually you have to dismantle the case of the key fob to replace the battery

The battery is accessed by removing the key fob cover

@Tom don’t you already have a red one? You’re just missing that vinyl racing stripe and now the red key fob sides. 😉 They both would look very cool. I just wish my steering wheel had the cut out groove for the 12 O’clock stripe. It looks like a 2 minute job.

Looks great.
I had done this with my 991 but for some reason haven't done it with my 992.
Maybe it's because my 992 is chalk and I'd have to get a white cover. Maybe I should just do red. Hmmm...
