I thought in its new civility mode, my car wouldn't need my old boost braces. Looks like I was wrong...

Tom, do you have any pics of your old boost braces? I'm trying to visualize how such a thing would occur, unless there was a misalignment between the engine and intercooler and/or an engine mount issue.

Here's how it looked with the boost braces... Entirely different configuration vs. the stock look now.

Are those stock hoses? I run 15 psi as well. Are they aftermarket clamps? I have only had that happen one time and it was because I stupidly forgot to tighten the hose clamps.

Something wrong. Engine movement? Old hoses that are hard?
