Removing Roof Fin

I am installing a vynyl strip down the middle of the hood, top, hatch and wing of my 718 Cayman. I'd like to remove the fin instead of trying to cut a hole in the vynyl. Can anyone provide direction on lowing the back of the head liner to gain access to the torx bolt that hold the fin in position? Thanks

A note of caution is all I can offer.
Headliner sagging is a known issue (less common on 982 vs earlier gens).
So I don’t know if what you’re planning may cause issues longer term. Hot climates seem to have more issues.
Good Luck with the project.

The 718s head liner, unlike the earlier Caymans with a more carpet like liner, is a hard shell. So drooping should not be an issue.

Videos show how to remove the liner but concentrate on the fixtures starting from the visors and sides. None show how to remove the rear trim nor the fixtures holding the rear of the head liner.
